Crab Kalimari

Serves 4 - Preparation time 30 minutes
Ingredients
For the peppered crab
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon ginger, chopped
2 tablespoon onion, chopped
1 green chilli, chopped
8 curry leaves shredded
250 gm(10 oz) crab meat
Salt to taste
½ teaspoon fennel powder
A pinch of turmeric powder
1 teaspoon madras curry powder
2 tablespoon coconut milk powder
A pinch of garam masala powder
½ teaspoon tellicherry peppercorns, crushed
For the presentation
2 seedless cucumbers, sliced
4 red chillies, cut into flowers
4 baked millefeuille
Method
For the peppered crab
Heat oil, add garlic, ginger, Onions, green chilli and curry leaves and sauté well
Add crab meat, salt, fennel powder turmeric powder, madras curry leaves, coconut milk powder, garam masala powder and crushed peppercorns and cook till date.
For the presentation
Present the cooked crab meat on cucumber carpaccio with chilli and millefeuille garnish.
