Volunteering within Greater Manchester
There are lots of interesting and fun volunteering opportunities available within Greater Manchester and we would love to hear from you if you are interested.

Enjoy music and performances in this fantastic setting and help to raise funds for the Mayor of West Lancashire’s Charity which will be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support and Help for Heroes.
Wednesday 25th August
On the 25th August 2010 John Humphrey and Paul Higginson will be walking approximately 13-14 miles from Leigh, Lancashire to the Arndale Centre, Manchester.
Last year Paul Higginson and Michaela Milward walked approximately 25miles from Leigh, Lancashire to Southport and raised £729.31

Sunday 5th September Classic Car Run
Merseyside MG Owners Club are hosting yet another Classic Car Run to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Starts at the Coach and Horses Pub, Liverpool Road North, Maghull, Liverpool. Ends at Andrew Greenwood’s classic car show at Cholmondeley Castle, cost £15 per car. Tea/coffee at the start. Bacon rolls may be purchased from the pub. You will receive your rally plaque, route map, and finishers present at the end.

Macmillan Ball & Auction, 16th October 2010
Alton Towers in the Stateroom. A hot buffet & entertainment throughout the night. D.J / Band, Auction & Raffle. This will be an extravaganza of socialising and dancing the night away - whilst at the same time, helping to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support in the Macclesfield area. Tickets £25.00 per person.
