The Smooth Radio Starlight Supper will raise money for our Smooth Appeal charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.

In the North West Macmillan raise over £3.5 million pounds to support the full profile of services that are provided within local community. They provide emotional, financial and medical support to the people and their families affected by cancer. Macmillan professionals will be found working within local hospices and hospitals providing the care and support needed from the onset of a cancer diagnosis. The demand for their services grows each year and they continually strive to raise as many funds as possible to continue to offer these services.

Macmillan would not be able to reach as many people without the support of organisations such as Smooth Radio and its listeners taking part in such an initiative as the Starlight Supper. We want to thank everyone who has registered to take part and thank them for helping us provide support to so many people affected by cancer.

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. We provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care. Cancer affects us all. 1 in 3 of us will receive a cancer diagnosis in our lifetime.

Macmillan’s ambition is to reach and improve the lives of people affected by cancer
